Is it legal to flip cards over early in hold em? One player was all in, second to act was thinking, thrid filpped cards before her turn. Second then folded after seeing the cards – all in lost the hand. Does the early, out of turn flip kill the hand?

My “Poker Guy” is no longer answering questions. But let me give you my two cents.

I don’t think it’s appropriate to flip cards early in Hold’em. The reason is that it gives information to the other players who haven’t decided. It’s like folding before the flop and seeing three of the same suit on the flop. You can’t announce that you would have had a flush if you hadn’t folded. This would kill the hand. Hope this helps, and sorry that my Poker Guy couldn’t answer this for you. I’m looking for a new poker guy to write for PokerMoments, and he or she will be able to answer with more authority.
