Suber, any thoughts on whether these hands were rigged?

Don’t know. Do you have any reason to be suspicious?

Well, I thought that some of these hands seemed like they were rigged to create drama for the tv show. No particular reason to say that they were save for the fact that it seems like there were too many coincidences.

This raises an interesting philosophical question: whether there would be any statistical way to determine if a poker hand had *probably* been rigged. I know that all hands are equally probable. But still…

If they were rigged and this were found out then the TV show would be off the air in two seconds. I suppose this is my reason for believing that it isn’t rigged.

I’ve also played in some pretty rigged-looking hands. Today, for example, I was dealt a 3 and something else, can’t remember. The flop was 3 3 3. It turned out that one player had pocket aces and another player hit a boat. It might not have been an “amazing” poker hand, but it was pretty close to it.
